And Finally the most anticipated MusicMeetsRunway music-fashion show has come and gone leaving no doubts in the mind of Nigerians the creativeability of 9ja pple.The show was nothing ever seen in the Nigerian Music and Fashion industry making a remarkable debut at the Expo hall of Eko hotel and suite.
Although the event was scheduled to start 6 pm local time but started 3 hours later with most guest already present at venue since 2 pm expecting a non-African time event.
The Music-Fashion event featured top artist in the Nigeria music industry performing simulteneously with both up and coming and international Fashion designers. There was nothing like it in the Nigerian music/ fashion industry and this was first of its kind in 9ja.
Rating the show:
It was one of the most amazing events in 2011, a break from the norm with world class stage design, stage lighting, and superb Sound quality blasting from the the Expo hall line array speakers. It sure created awareness for the laudable and fledging growth the Nigerian fashion industry has recorded in recent times.
The Absence of Amber Rose never deterred the show in any way as Nigeria’s R n B music artist Banky W cohosted with radio presenter.
10 musical artistes graced the occasion dishing out hits after hits. The event wasn't all about fashion and music.It was a great networking opportunity for the fashion industry, professionals including educators, retail buyers, fashion journalists, trendsetters and consumers get together.
