The friendly match between Ghana and Nigeria schedule to take place in London has been called off due to the widespread rioting in the British capital.
A statement on the Ghana Football Association website confirmed the match, scheduled to take place at Watford's Vicarage Road stadium has been canceled in light of violence in London.
According to the statement released, the Ghanaian team were informed of the widespread unrest and has soon called off the game.
"Following the events in London, the Ghana Football Association delegation with the team were this afternoon informed of the decision by the match organizers. The game has been called off following widespread unrest in certain parts of London and England."
Several League cup matches due to take place in London on Tuesday has been postponed including England's friendly with the Netherlands scheduled for Wednesday but had since been confirmed postponed by England's FA.
