Bill Gates Reacts: Steve Jobs' Criticism 'Doesn't Bother Me At All'

Microsoft founder Bill Gates has coolly responded to some harsh criticism by late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, saying that 'none of it bothers him at all'.

According to Jobs' biographer Walter Isaacson, Apple's visionary leader accused Gates of being "unimaginative," and said that he never invented anything.

Gates dismissed the rebukes by his long-time competitor and instead praised him for the impact he had on the world, the Daily Mail reports.

"Steve Jobs did a fantastic job," Gates said during an interview with ABC News.

"When you think about why is the world better today, the Internet, the personal computer, the phone, the way you can deal with information is just so phenomenal," he added.

Gates, who worked with the late Apple genius on the software for the first Mackintosh computer, said that Jobs said a lot of nice and bad things about him when they worked together.

"Over the course of ... the 30 years we worked together, you know, he said a lot of very nice things about me and he said a lot of tough things," he said.

"We got to work together. We spurred each other on, even as competitors. None of that bothers me at all," he added.
